Yes, this device is very convenient and works on Madza CX3 stouring. No cable needed to connect to mobile phone. Use bluetooth to pair with your mobile phone. CarPlay automatically connects to my mobile when I start the car ignition.
You need to use the car dial/control to navigate the screen interface when using the CarPlay adapter. My car has touch screen display which does not work when I’m using the CarPlay adapter. It’s not always 100% receptive – lately it’s been unresponsive with a blank screen. To fix this I disconnect the CarPlay adapter and reconnect later or I just don’t bother.
You need to connect Siri to use the Text messaging by voice commands. Not all apps on your mobile will be available through CarPlay. The important/basic apps are available to use.
Hope the above review helps you decide if you want to purchase or not.
For me I would say it’s worth the purchase for the sake of convenience. I used to have cables all over the car connecting my mobile. Now my mobile stays in my handbag while I’m driving.

Tried 2 other more expensive well reviewed devices, that I had to return as they just didn’t work.
This one worked straight away so I am very happy.
Installed on a Haval H6 Hybrid so that I can leave phone on the wireless charger without having to hook into the USB to use Carplay.
Give this a go first as if it works for you then it will save you $$$
