  • 【2K 60fps+1080P 30fps Dual Dash Cam】A129 Plus Duo is the upgraded version of A129 Duo dash cam, front and rear camera shots road ahead at 2560*1440P 60fps and road behind at 1080P 30fps at the same time. Much more details can be easily captured including license plate and signpost. 140° wide angle is enough to cover the whole road and will not distort the image.
  • 【Super Night Vision】Both front and rear camera is loaded with super high quality Sony Sensor which has better night vision than any other sensors. WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, provide clearer view than most other car cameras in low-light conditions for nighttime driving.
  • 【Built-in Wi-Fi & GPS】By connecting to wifi, you can view real-time video, transmit video, etc. on your phone at any time.. With GPS logger, dash camera can log the current speed and GPS location, also automatically correct the time by synchronizing with the satellite. Timestamp can be embedded in the video. Real-time speed would display on car camera screen in KM/H or MP/H.
  • 【Parking Mode】Parking mode will be able to record events leading up to an impact / motion that has been detected. This is an excellent feature and completes a true parking mode as there can be a lot of vital information in the lead-up to whatever triggered recording. To use parking mode, it is better to buy VIOFO HK3 hardwire cable separately.
  • 【Ideal Choice of Dash Cam】G-sensor, motion detection, auto start/stop, loop recording, time lapse recording, built-in microphone & speaker, mobile APP, support up to 256GB SD card, support optional CPL and Bluetooth remote control, one year warranty. A129 Plus Duo is the ideal choice for your dashcam.

Just simply used the “prying” bar (Not sure official name for it) to push the cord throughout the cars gaps and weather strips. Even less cord if you hardwire it, but I just tucked a lot of it under my car mat which never gets lifted anyways for the front cam into cigarette lighter. Cord is easily long enough for every kind of car. Be careful with installing the back camera if you have a hatch, keep in mind the cord will lift with the boot so leave enough cord to have it lift properly. Very impressed with the LARGE settings page too.

Apart from being at a good price point, the remote bluetooth button to freeze a frame is my biggest plus, followed by being able to wifi it to the phone or iPad to make settings & to view footage. The installation was really simple (now that it’s complete), in my case not one panel had to be removed & all cables are well hidden. All the appropriate fittings & window fixings were supplied (remote button an extra), even providing a tool to facilitate cable routing. Well packaged & presented.

Purchased this to replace a 4 year old premium dual dash cam that had failed – probably the typical life of a dash cam in a hot climate. Prior to that an expensive big name dash cam only lasted 18 months.

I selected the Viofo A129 Plus Duo because it was almost identical in size, shape and specs to my failed unit and was about a third cheaper than the failed unit to replace, so I figured it was worth a punt. It also had upgraded QHD Front and HD rear cams compared to HD at both ends for my previous brand (I have not named them as the product and support was very good but just too expensive now in comparison.)

Installation was generally straight forward, however the Viofo A129 Plus has a UNIQUE rear camera cable so I had to replace the old cable with the Viofo cable. My car is a station wagon (Australia, Estate in Europe) so this was not a simple task. I purchased anyway due to the price differential and the fact I had installed the original cable myself so I knew what I was in for – about 3 hours of careful trim removal and routing of the cable. Ironically the original rear camera mount was identical so I did not have to mess about removing that component.

I also replaced the previous hard wire kit with a new viofo (HD3) kit although this was not really necessary as the existing kit was identical, but given it was also 4 years old and I already had the car trim apart the small extra in $ was worthwhile to have an all new setup.

So far very happy with the Viofo with improved definition and images at both ends. The CPL from my old dash cam was also identical so that just slipped over the viofo lens without the need to buy a new one. Time will be the test, it just needs to last 2 years to be more cost effective than replacing with my previous brand.

So far my dual channel dash cams have assisted me twice. The first was when the vehicle in front decided to reverse into my car while stopped at a red light. The front camera proved he reversed into me, and that it was not me driving into him. The 2nd time my car was rear ended, again while waiting at a red light, the rear cam made it obvious I was stationary at the time. Both low speed incidents but the cameras made it very clear who was at fault if they came to insurance claims.

If you are budget constraint and with 4k dash cam still in the early years and plague with overheat, this camera is what you need (especially in Australian summer).

This Is good Product for Dual Camera, but Mine rear Camera Didn’t work even for a year, I feel it is more suitable for sedan Cars, whose Glass Doesn’t move while Opening the Car Trunk. if the Car Trunks Glass moves Where the camera Should be fitted , while opening the trunk,Than It is Not suitable for those car, this Is from My experience. Now only My front Camera Is working, I bought the original wire two Times,i was thinking it was wire problem all the time, I think it Is the Rear Camera now but too late for Warranty claim i think. it was not working during the warranty period i waited to replace the wire and another wire.

I installed this about six months ago and it’s just worked as expected since then without any intervention on my part. I’ve had reason to pull videos from it twice since then and the quality was quite as good as expected. It’s a bit of a pain to install (as is any camera with a wired rear secondary cam) as you need to pull off various trim parts to hide to wiring to the rear of the car, but it’s really not that hard to figure out, and if that’s something you don’t want to do it’s cheap enough to have it installed professionally (or you can just leave wires hanging around your car if you don’t mind looking like a grot). Overall, if you’re willing to commit to the installation, the device itself is worthwhile.

I did also purchase the optional wiring kit to allow it to be wired into the car’s fusebox so it works in “parking mode” as well but to date haven’t bothered with it – it works well enough plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. I still think it’s a good idea and would make for a neater install… it’s just waiting for the day when I have plenty of time to kill and nothing more interesting to do.
