Sebastien –
It’s day two of use and it already disconnected mid song and played it out loud for everyone else on the bus, and disconnected a couple of times in the afternoon. I don’t think I’ve been overly rough with it so I assume this is just a side effect of the dodgy crap it has to do just to get phones to use 3.5mm again. 4 stars because it otherwise delivers on all fronts.

Pros:
Works with google pixel 3.
Good quality build.
Support 5 channel audio aux.
Cons:
Don’t work with iPad Pro as advertised
Drains your phone battery.

This “USB C to Headphone Jack and Charger Adapter, CableCreation 2-in-1 USB Type-C to Hi-Res 3.5 audio Jack” works great with my Pico 4. I can attach my battery packs & use the audio jack for the headphones. Not sure if it may make a difference but I have the USB-C port facing rearward.

Playback is fine, but when you use a headset with a microphone people complain that the sound is broken up. Not recommended for calls.

It’s made of solid material. Almost snaps into the USB C on y S23 Ultra and holds firmly. Allows me to have a small shotgun mic on the top and a power bank attached to the bottom for extended videoing.

Have to take the phone’s cover off to use it. So basically useless.

I bought some Chi-Fi in ear monitors before I realised my phone didn’t have a headphone jack. Duhhh.
A bit pricier than some other USB C solutions out there but it works. The sound is noticeably louder than anything I’d had over Bluetooth from the same device. I had tried Android apps that boost volume but they seemed to add distortion with volume. This adapter appeared to give a cleaner boost.
I’ve a slight concern that the bar design could put strain on the USB C socket if knocked. No problem there yet.

I am using OnePlus 7t.
Sound quality is ok but sometimes radio interference sound comes while listening music or watching movies.
Microphone quality is really bad when on call. Person on the other side of the call always complain.
When earphone is connected it doesn’t show the earphones symbol on mobile.
Rapid charging doesn’t work.
Build quality is good.

The only one that works properly. Went to many shops tried many others. This is the only one that has a good loud volume.
I bought another one at the end.

Delivery was great. Works well, but very fiddly and doesn’t like to me moved. Disconnect often and easily.

Solid Aluminium shell. Power pass through does not interfere with audio. High quality Digital audio to Analogue audio converter on board. Good volume range. Fantastic piece of kit.

It works well and has a good-quality output.

Have tried many many different brands of USB to 3.5mm audio adaptors for using wired headsets with phones that no longer provide a headphone jack.
I have tried generic chinese brands, UGREEN, etc, but this cable creations PD supporting version was the best of the batch in terms of both audio quality, audio ouput levels (many are quite quiet and do not provide much in the way of high output audio for less sensitive higher impedance headphones) as well as fully support USBC power charge passthrough of PD and PPS signals, allowing your device to charge at its maximum rate whilst using the headset. It also support microphone input for full headset functionality and was completely seemless to use.
Audio quality is high, high resolution 96kHz, 24 bit capable, and very sturdy usb connection that is not too thick to fit in a USB Port when it is inside a case make this my go to…. After buying one of each of 5 different types to try them out, I purchased another 2 of these and gave the others away.
Only Caveats to watch for which are clearly in the item description is you need a CTIA standard headset device (tech speak for an android compatible microphone based headset) – all 3.5mm headphones will work regardless. If your wired headset is wired for the Apple standard then it will work only for listening to audio, and not for microphone recording.
IF your USB Charge is not a USB PD (Power Delivery standard) device, then it will fallback to legacy USB-C charging, but will disable the audio interface whilst charging.
Very Highly recommended.
