Works as expected in converting my son’s headset with a single 4 position jack into 2 separate jacks (sound and microphone). The 2 3.5mm jacks are then plugged into the computer and everything is working fine.

Purchased these as my previous jacks kept getting rived out of the headphone sockets on my PC as I was either vigorously masturbating or thrashing about aimlessly on my swivel chair, this must’ve unfortunately damaged the connectors but simply purchased this adapter and back to hearing everything in full surround sound again. In the “Customer Questions & Answers” someone asked a question about does it work with iPhone earphones. The answer from the seller is Yes. I have just tested and the real answer is NO. The microphone does NOT work with iPhone earphones, but it does work with other earbuds (I tried with Samsung earbuds). I got this to work with my Bose QC25’s and doesn’t work, also tested standard Apple earbuds, which also don’t work. Long story short, don’t buy if you want it for your Apple compatible headphones.

I already have a couple of similar adapters (same materials and colurs, so presumably the same manufacturer) for plugging a mic and earphones into a socket but I needed one the other way round. Like the other ones the quality is excellent. The only thing to be aware of is that the wire is quite thick and the connectors quite large. I do have a smaller white converter that goes well with wired earbuds and which is much more discreet. This blue one is probably more robust and better suited for conference calls at a desk.
