Now I can use the earphones I want to use with my iPhone, rather than what Apple want me to use. I’ve got the 1more quads and they work exactly as good with or without this adapter, there is no deterioration in sound quality, to my ears anyway. No errors on the phone, and I can use my earphones volume control and pause function. It’s bloody perfect actually.

Very pleased with this adapter for my new iphone. I prefer the wired in-ear headphones, and this enables me to connect with my itunes library via the lightning connector as there’s no 3mm headphone jack on iphones these days!! The sound is perfect – no difference noticed whilst using this adapter……highly recommended. Better than purchasing new wireless headphones!!

As a user of the voiceover screenreader on my iPhone I have earphones plugged in permanently, meaning this unassuming little device is one of the most important bits of tech I own. I’ve been through a few of them now, they seem to last about six to nine months before I start losing the left or right channel, but I suppose this isn’t bad for something plugged in perpetually and subjected frequently to being bent or tugged at as I wind my headphones around my phone or inadvertently drop them. The one I have plugged in at the moment is becoming a little stiff within 5mm of the connector at each end, but the remainder of the short wire is wearing well and, touch wood, the sound quality is still fine. I have awarded four stars as I think it is a little expensive for something that needs to be replaced regularly, but overall, it is much better than the Apple equivalent and probably more than adequate for customers who are slightly less heavy users of an earphone connection than I am.

I have been using this for more than a year now and it still works perfectly. Previously when I used the genuine Apple adapters I would have to replace them about every 6 months because the audio would intermittently stop working in one ear. Due to lack of good strain relief I think. But this UGREEN unit is well constructed and I have had no problems with it.

I bought it on November last year, and it has not been working properly for the last month, until today, that it has decided to stop working.
The quality of the sound was good, and it had never given me a problem before. However, for the price that I paid, I think it should have lasted much longer. I paid a bit more for the pair of earphones I have, and I bought them 3 years ago, and they are still in perfect condition.
