Great IEM to get started into the hobby.
Pleasant sounding tuning and good build quality. Easy to drive, can be driven via 3.5mm apple dongle and works well plugged into 3.5mm port off xbox one controller.
4 stars because the mids and trebble sounds a bit thin (but I’m also concious that I might be nitpicking at this price point).

Decided to try an affordable recommendation by Crinacle to see if i like his style of tuning. Coming from Campfire audio BAs this double dynamic driver is definitely a clear winner in bass, the sound is clean and punchy, and when you listen to heavier tracks you clearly experience the larger DD kicking in to give the extra low end almost like there’s a little subwoofer behind your iem. These are very easy to drive as well, mainly used with the laptop in the evening and now i listen to YouTube videos at 20% volume instead of full otherwise it’s too loud.
I have medium to large pinna and ear canal, the large ear tip and overall design makes these the most comfortable IEMs I’ve owned to date. Great passive isolation as well.
The cable design is a nice braided one, does get tangled at times but thick enough to make it easy to untangle, the cable noise is low to medium depending on whether it’s knocking against a hard surface or not.
I’ve been using these for 5 months and I’m very happy with the purchase especially for the price. Would buy again.

Good for games like Val, and has good base

You can spend hundred more to prove you’re an audiophile, or, get this for $62 and enjoy music. Only criticism – ear tips should be larger – tight seal is critical for bass.

I’m going to say first off, I like the typical V shape sound signature. Out the box these aren’t great, but decent. The one thing that is truly awesome about these is you can EQ the bass or treble even further and it doesn’t muddy the sound since the drivers are separate. I think this makes it a unique listening experience at this price point. But really only suitable for shorter periods listening, and for specific bass heavy genres. I also highly recommend changing the cable for $20-30 and getting a good twin pin cable as it makes them much more comfy to use.
Pros –
– Relatively comfy
– Great look
– Great(ish) sound (the sub 200hz driver is genuinely noticeable)
– Exploitable even more with EQ
– Only $70 AUD? I think the value is here for what you get.
– Replaceable cable
– Lots of ear tips, carry case and Waifu card are nice touches
Cons –
– Original wire is a little cheap (and over ear fit, though I don’t mind it, it looks a bit odd)
– A bit bulky
– Plastic can feel a bit cheap, but still not bad.
I’m super stoked with these considering the price. I’ve has my fair share of buds and it’s hard put these in the same category because I think its too niche. Don’t buy these if you want something to use everyday, and ignore other reviews that say these suck. They have a purpose, and they’re great at doing that if you want to exploit it.

Massive Bass. But still clear. Perfect for pop and EDM. Just one small thing. There is no way this is going into your ear – so you’ll be using the foam tips to seal from a little further back than you’re used to. They sit will considering their size – and they are big. They look the part. The accessories are great. If anything, these will be your favourite other pair.

I was upgrading these from my CCA cra which costed me 20aud. From those cra’s to the truthear zero was a wider soundstage and a more balanced but still a lot of sub bass compared to the v shaped cra’s which kinda hurt my ears because of how much high end was being used. The truthear fitted in my ear comfortablly and came with a bunch of ear tips including foam tips. i went with one of the smaller narrow ear tips as the nozzle is pretty big and my ear canal is very small. The cable is very nice and doesn’t get tangled aswell. Playing games is one of the main things I use these for, besides listening to music and watching YouTube and playing apex legends in diamond was a very pleasant experience. The audio wasn’t muddled like the CCA cra so I could easily tell where things were coming from and what was firing, plus hearing footsteps was easier but sometimes it was a bit faint at times because of apex rlly bad audio in the first place lol, and probs because of the wider soundstage. All around for 70 bucks you couldn’t go wrong and honestly was money well spent 🙂
