I love the magnetic back so I can pop it on the side of my fridge to monitor the temp in the house (which I need to know for sourdough baking) and being able to easily take it to other spots in the house to see the temp and prop it up with the flip kickstand. It recalibrates quite quickly and seems to be nice and accurate.

Pros:
Temperature seems to be semi accurate. I would not use this for anything related to food safety though.
Good price (more on that below).
Cons:
1. The newer units have a weird pinkish hue to the display.
2. The thermo pro sticker is also printed poorly/crooked – you can see the “metal grains” are slanted downwards towards the right. I bought the new unit from the same seller as the old unit (i-tronics), so I don’t believe I got a counterfeit unit.
3. The seller likes to play games with their pricing if you want to buy more than 1 unit at a time.
They’ll sell you of these for $12 ($24 total) if you buy 2 units…. but if you buy just 1, you get offered a coupon code to drop this down to just $10 or 11 for 1 unit.
So if you buy 2, you get the worse deal, and the coupon is only valid for 1 unit and doesn’t reappear for a few weeks.
So you end up having to buy just 1 at a time to get the best savings.

I was very pleased with this purchase. It worked very well for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately for some reason, the digital reading is missing half of its black numbers. Impossible to read. I am disappointed because I really liked it.

I grabbed another one of these meters. I have a 5×5 tent. In there I have 2 of these. 1.2 degree difference in temperature 2 degree difference in humidity. They are right beside each other too. No excuses.
They are garbage and the 10% discount means nothing when you factor in that much of a difference in readings from such a small sample. I feel like returning these two and getting something better.

Was used to have good experience with the TP50 before, I ordered this one. The physical design is good but not the accuracy. I am not quite sure whether I had a defect one but comparing to my old TP50 it is 1 Celsius lower and 12% always higher. The main purpose is to measure the humidity so I had to return it. I would not recommend this model to any one.

The temperature reading was correct as it matched the one on my alarm clock. The humidity reading level wasn’t even close. I borrowed our maintenance staffs humidity reader. Compared it to this unit. This unit stated it was 65% humidity which you’d notice. The correct reading was 38%. Added humidity and closed door to room for 10 minutes, this unit stated 78% and the true reading was 49%. At 78% it would be sauna like feeling. Nope.
Would not purchase again nor would I recommend it.
