I had a very bad infestation of fungus gnats they always come from potting mix that I buy. I tried to treat it with hydrogen peroxide but I always had a problem with the adult gnats so I got these stickers and they started collecting the flying adults from the second day. Am still battling fungus gnats though

Product arrived fast & works great! I didn’t really pay attention to what was included, besides the sticky traps themselves. So the twist ties and mini shovel were a cool surprise. I like the size of these traps, and they collect a ton of gnats. They are double the size of the previous traps I bought, which is overall great and should help with the gnat problem. They do look a tad big for smaller indoor plants, but I’d much prefer the bug problem to be gone over aesthetic lol. I also like the trap holder extenders that came with it as these can work with a wide variety of plants!

I have had so many gnats stick to these. I think I have about 30 stuck just on one sticker. Only 2 of the stickers were hard to peel but the others were easy. I recommend catching them this way and letting the soil dry out to eliminate further reproduction.

I couldn’t see any effect in the beginning and could see the flies everywhere but recently I see lots of them on both sides. Currently using in 2 pots that seem to have more flies than others.its very sticky but I reckon with dust it loses it..

Ok, when I first got these I was like what is up with all the reviews? I thought they were so flimsy and impossible to put in. Its been a couple of months now and Im so happy with them. What I’ve learned is to place these traps to the side of the pot (refer to pic 1), as I found it to slide in easier. Don’t worry about it being flimsy or anything, it does the job and it does it well!

Easy to use and put in. Only had them in for a couple of days, and there are definitely fungus gnats stuck on them. Early days, but it seems OK. Not going to kill them all in a hurry, but might stop them being a pest

Read reviews on similar products that said the paper layer was hard to get off. Not the case at all on this product! Very easy to remove, very sticky, working great to catch fungus gnats. Only complaint would be that the part you stick in the soil is a bit tricky to get in because its a bit flimsy

Very happy with this purchase. First two photos are from merely an hour of sitting in the pots. The second two photos are after a number of days. Perhaps this speaks to how many gnats I have… a bit embarrassing! They’re a menace. But I have noticed a marked decrease in bugs around the house.
Combine this method with a small dish filled with apple cider vinegar + a blob of dish soap. That will catch little bugs that skip the sticky trap. For best effect, use a dish with a wide surface area, such as a plate. That maximises the chance of bugs falling in.

So 3 out of my 5 plants were infected with fungus gnats and I suspect I know why this happened. I bought sealed soil from Canadian I realized it wasn’t enough for my plants so I kept the unsealed bag on the balcony. Then when I used this soils in the 3 plants they got infected :(.

    Solutions:
    – I tried drying the planets out as long as possible and lost one Leaf on my fiddle fig leaf tree.
    – I used the fungus gnat nematodes pack I bought from Amazon. Then I watered all the plants. This kills the eggs and larvae.
    – then I set up these sticky traps to get all the adult flies that are in my surrounding.

I am not seeing them very often anymore. I hope it works I am gonna repeat this process 3 more times.

I introduced mold gnats from freshly bought potting soil. They are buzzing around these fly traps, but I caught only a single one.
The yellow color alone does not attract them. I will try to spray some apple cider vinegar on the sheets.
