I’ve not had them long, but considering the price with deal of the day, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Took the risk based on reviews as I wanted something suitable to listen to music during exercise, going for walks, and doing work at home. I have expensive wired buds but often end up ripping cables and earphones from my ears unless I am sitting reading or relaxing listening to music. I have bought expensive store recommended brands for sport/wireless before but I couldn’t get them to stay in my ears so the money was completely wasted. Tried to offer them to my partner, but he had similar issues with other well known brands. I gave this set to him to try and we both found they didn’t fall out as the other had which was a relief. It is not the loudest sound, and there is a bit of a hiss during instruments or lulls in songs but I can ignore it most of the time. I can’t speak about longevity because I’ve only had them a few days but so far so good. They have a year warranty, so the concerns a couple of people had about life span should be covered for a year. For the price it seems a reasonable risk to take. The case is handy with multiple accessories for wear, a charging cable, and clamp. A little drawback that I didn’t read before I bought them was that it requires no greater than 1A for charging. I had to hunt around in drawers for old tech as most devices use greater. I was lucky to find a really old powerbank that only goes to 1A and has a micro usb so I could charge the case. Without it, I would have been stuck. My partner thought he might get a set as a back up alternative for short trips when he doesn’t want to take his huge and expensive over ear headphones and is deciding between these and the SoundPeats TrueCapsule. The SoundPEATS Q30 has a longer battery life (but no charge case) than the TrueCapsule, with a small cable that sits around the neck and had magnetic backs on the earphones that are handy for jobs that need you to take them on and off without losing them or having them get tangled like wired headphones. I think between the two, these TrueWirless Earbuds V5.0 are slightly more comfortable and less likely to fall out and perhaps just slightly clearer sound, but both seem reasonably good for the price. They are both somewhat quiet, so if you want ‘big’ sound they may not be your ideal. Both models connected to blutooth without any issues at all. I wasn’t particular interesting in using them for calls, and haven’t tested them in enough scenarios to confirm that feature.

In my opinion they’re better than my $250 ear buds I got , I especially like them when I’m on my mountain bike, and I only need it in one ear as it would be a bit dangerous caz I wouldn’t be able to hear a car horn or something like that, but I hardly use my expensive earbuds anymore as these are way better

Good value for money wireless headset, noise cancelling. Snug fit in my ears and the volume piece isn’t heavy so it doesn’t pull the chord around annoyingly while your moving and talking like my previous sony headset did. Doesn’t come with a usb charger head, only supplies the chord, you need to supply your own 1A output charger. They don’t recommend you use a 2A or 2.5A output plug to charge the headset.

**My first experience with these ear buds was short lived and within weeks they were skipping the connection with my iPhone or losing it completely. Customer service proactively contacted me about my problems and provided me with a new set.
**These issues have not repeated with the new ear buds and the connection is now reasonably solid (although Melbourne over January is noticeably less busy than December so less chance of interference with other blue tooth transmitters on the trains). The bass does not appear to be quite as good on the new ones but that might just about finding the ear piece size (in which case I need to try out one of the many different sized ones provided) or it might be a technical adjustment to the technology which has resulted in a more stable connection but at the sacrifice of some frequency – lets face it, it is more likely to be the former than the latter but you never know.
**The below review follows my experience with the second set of ear buds, although except for the issues above, the experiences were largely similar, and I am very pleased with the value for money they represent and certainly do not regret buying them.

I was initially concerned based on past (admittedly aged) experience of bluetooth ear buds with previous efforts from low range purveoyors such as Mpow lacking base but with screaming treble.
I need not have worried however. Despite the low price tag, these little gems distribute some reasonable bass and clear upper end the larger driver side in the Plus models really making a difference and putting them on par with some of the mid-range non-wireless ear buds (Sony etc).
Battery life is so far fine although 6 hours appears to be the comfortable max, so I always get them plugged in to a USB whenever I have a spare 30 mins just to keep them topped up.
Buds are very comfortable and with the fins attached are snug and do not move around resulting in a great seal.
The included carry case is a semi-flexible hard shell with room for the buds and charge cable. Comfortably will fit in a coat pocket but probably too much for trousers.
The main failing of these earbuds is that they, well, look like $36 earbuds.
I chose the white colour meaning the control panel / battery storage looks cheap and flimsy. Other colours may not look so bad but I doubt it, its mainly the texture and the fact it is thin plastic.
The control buttons are small and not very well raised for quick intuitive button pushes but these are small quibbles and you will get used to them over time.
Hopefully despite the above issues, this has a good lifetime attached to it.
In summary, excellent value for money. Highly recommend if you are just taking your first steps in to wireless. They are a joy to listen through.
