These are my first lifting straps and I’m confident I will be sticking with these until they break. I have not conducted extensive research of other lifting straps, but I try to find simple, uncomplicated products that meet my needs.
I bought these in August and it’s now November. I use these at least twice a week for conventional deadlifts, bent over rows, and Romanian deadlifts. So far they’ve held up really well and they’re simple to use. A little self-disclosure, I did YouTube a video to ensure I used these properly.
I’ve seen some reviews about these straps being a little short–but I think they’re more than adequate to get a good wrap on the bar. These straps have soft, sticky textured bumps which, in my opinion, really do help maintain grip. I also saw a review about the sticky bumps facing the wrong way, but I don’t think that’s right. I do believe the sticky bumps are for your hands, not the barbell. To get a good grip, the barbell needs to rotate as you ‘throttle’ in opposite directions to take out the slack and put the tension on your wrists. If the sticky bumps faced the barbell, then it would be very hard to spin the barbell.

They were exactly what i wanted. Rubber underneath really helps with grip.

Genuinely love these straps. They’re for a great price and they’ve lasted me a while!! Still continuing to use them!

Utilisé au gym. Les sangles sont correctes sauf que la prise serait bien meilleure si la partie caoutchoutee était plus longue.

Très solide épouse bien la forme du poignet

Lifting straps are used to enhance grip strength and allow you to lift heavier weights without the risk of losing your grip. They work by wrapping around the barbell or dumbbell and then’ around your wrist, which creates a secure connection between the weight and your body. As someone who goes to the gym 5 times a week, these straps are crucial to always bring with me. These straps have helped me greatly increase my strength by helping me better focus on the weight itself rather than me worrying about losing grip. By distributing the weight evenly across my wrist and hand, lifting straps have helped me reduce so much stress on my grip as well as keeping me from being hurt. This convenient prop has also helped me improve my overall weightlifting performance. These straps are easy to use and can be quickly and easily wrapped around the barbell and your wrist. They can also be easily removed when you’re finished with your lift. Overall, these straps are a useful accessory. It’s a must for my every day workout and I have not gone a day without them since.
