Compact and works fine, but design means you can’t use both USB-C ports at the same time in MacBooks. You could just do it without the ring holder but that can’t be removed. In hindsight, I’d prefer a short cable with SD card adaptor at the other end.

Wanted a Sd card reader that would connect to my phone so that I could instantly transfer photos from my camera to a phone app. This card reader is perfect for that. Simple to use. Automatically connects to your phone when you plug it in. No need to download any software.

Only problem is the way the sd card sticks out didn’t work with my TV as it was too far out of the device to fit along the input slot.

I’ve had a lot of these over the years… all cheap and plasticy …. not this.
Build solidly and connects to every hole I’ve tried it in.
Good speed too. Getting the full 200MB per sec advertised on my SD card… in a USB 3.1 gen 1 port.

Well made, smooth and tight fit when plugging into my devices.
Very useful when being able to use it on either older or newer USB connections.
Good for swapping in and out micro sd’s or the SDHC card like I use in my digital camera when you want to transfer files easily between different devices.
