I was a little skeptical that this small panel would provide enough ongoing power to keep my Ring Doorbell charged but to my surprise, it has. I’ve had it installed now for quite some time and even over the winter months, it keeps the doorbell charged with no issues.

Didn’t charge Ring Doorbell 2 at all. I troubleshooted the installation and no matter the angle or the amount of sunlight (6+hours per day) it never charged. Waste of money. Do not buy.

Is what it is and does what it does, no surprises. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it had a longer wire, better to have to much than not enough. I could have easily used another 10 feet (30 instead of 20). For my situation my front door (door bell) is not facing south AND I have a large tree out front of the door in general. I needed to place the panel not only on the south facing wall but also further along it in order to get away from the shade of the tree, another 10 feet would have given me pretty full southern exposure. As it is, it is a little blocked and shaded for a significant portion of the day so I am not getting as much charge as I would like, not really the fault of the panel.

Easy to set up. Small and compact. Worry free about battery power for my Ring doorbell.
Great price at $70.

I’ve ordered this panel twice, it connected and charged the first time, then stopped working. On the ring app it says that solar is connected. But the battery level drops and never charges. Ordered a replacement panel and it’s doing the same thing.
