I bought this mic to complement the Razer Kiyo I use when WFH. I had thought that it would be clearer and more professional, and I had assumed it would have a mute button, most likely with an LED to show it was muted so I’d screw that up less often… But that’s not that the case – no mute and just a plain green power LED. Possibly a function of tiering the devices, but it doesn’t seem like it would be much of a cost-save to not have one. Is it clearer than the macbook pro’s own microphone? Yes, a little. Much better than the mic in the webcam itself, noticeably better than the MBP’s onboard, but not by a large margin.
But the lack of a standalone mute means I can’t endorse it unreservedly – the money would have been better spent elsewhere (e.g. lights etc) – or I should have sprung for a more premium model to get the mute button and light.

As usual Razer packaging is great with included stand and of course, stickers. Build quality is fantastic with my only gripe being with the slightly tacky cable however for the price it does the job fine. I used the microphone both with the included stand and my own boom arm.
The included stand was great however sometimes lacked the volume I required as it was a little too far from where I was sitting. It also picked up more keyboard sound then I would like which is why I opted for the boom arm with which it was perfectly compatible. There was minimal outside interference and audio was clear when tested.
The microphone can be used completely driver-less and worked great with both my PC and PS5.
Overall, a fantastic sounding microphone with good build quality for a more than decent price.

Nice product, fits on a small desk Nicely. Only problem I have is it’s not a product of the USA as advertised.

I genuinely love the mini, better than the big, this my 2nd one after 5 Years of use, nice, adjustable and easy to use

Wow, I have to say that the Razer Seiren Mini has exceeded all my expectations! I recently purchased one of the priciest webcams on the market, only to discover that the internal microphone was simply unbearable.
When I found this microphone, I was a bit skeptical and didn’t expect much from it (due to the price), but I have been blown away by the difference it makes in my audio quality. It’s incredible how such a small and affordable microphone can provide such excellent sound quality. (Check out my video to see a comparison of the sound quality).
This little guy packs a big punch and is perfect for video conferencing, live streaming, or recording videos. And the best part is that it won’t break the bank, so you can have amazing audio quality without spending a fortune.
Overall, I am beyond thrilled with the Razer Seiren Mini and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and effective plug ‘n play microphone.

Bought this as an upgrade to my trashy mic, and it was extraordinarily good. I bought this along side a boom arm and that will heavily impact this review.
The mic has good sound quality and kills a lot of background noise such as typing and any minor desk hits, although it does peak if I make any very loud noise such as a scream.
I bought a boom arm with this so the mic sits in front of my mouth, had I not have bought this boom arm I wouldn’t rate the mic so highly. If the mouse was on my table it would sound a lot worse due to the cardioid pickup pattern as this makes the quality worse if spoken into the top of the mic as apposed to the front side.
I’m writing this review 2 months after buying it, and at the time that I bought it, it was very good. Now, in June, the “Razer Siren” price has gone to the same price I bought this mic for, had the price dropped around the time I bought this mic, I would’ve opted for that mic instead, it’s all-round just better. Even if the “Razer Siren” is better and the same price; for now at least; that doesn’t diminish the quality of this mic, I still think it’s very good and I would recommend if the “Razer Siren” price went up again

Ive been using this one for a while now, just sourced a second one via Amazon for backup purposes.
Clear, crisp sound even on the base level Microsoft recorder app. Solid construction, the circular base with a small extension piece screws into the bottom of the mic to give a small footprint on the desk. Can be a bit short leading to propping it up on something to get close to the mic. Comes with a Micro USB cable that fits very securely into the lower edge of the mic.
Probably better served using it on a boom to get optimum height and positioning, but for what it is, will serve most entry level requirements easily.

for a cheap ish usb mic that you just plug in and go it sounds stunning, has decent surround vocals so it doesn’t have to be directly in front of your mouth and it can be mounted to a mic arm, though a note if you’re doing that the supplied cable is kinda short if you’re wanting to cable manage it around the arm and the desk so depending on your desk size a 2m+ usb cable should be on order with this mic (luckily it is just a standard micro usb cable so any will do)

Sounds good clear very sensitive to external noise tho

Working well for me.
The base is very short, so I need to hold it up for a better sound. Other than that it is good value for money.

Purchased for my boyfriend as a Christmas present and can say his very happy with it that his picked up steaming again because the mic great sound quality. Complete blows other ‘affordable’ brands out the window. Mounted on his mic arm perfectly and doesn’t need his pop filter either (I think that’s what is called) either way get purchase and a happy boyfriend so no complaints here

Bought for a friend for their pc, sound quality isn’t perfect but is really good for the price and is easy to install
