works well, wireless carplay never worked for me, but i use it via the usb cable and it works very well. very responsive and the screen is quite clear. There is a bit of a refection visible during the day but it is still quite good. the audio runs through the AUX cable and there was a bit feedback but i used a ground loop isolater and now the sound works quite well. very good solution for someone that doesnt want to pay to replace their stereo.

For the price, it does the job. I imagine compared to more expensive devices, responsiveness might be a little slow — it usually takes around 30 seconds to a minute to connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone, and occasionally I need to restart my iPhone for the connection to work, but the screen is quite snappy, and I haven’t had any issued with the touch screen. I have connected the device via AUX to my car’s sound system, and it is a little crackly, though it may just need a better cord, or it could be an issue with my car’s AUX input. Sometimes I need to lower the volume for Siri to hear me, but when it does work, CarPlay works seamlessly, and it has transformed my driving experience. I would recommend this device to people who want Apple CarPlay in their cars, but don’t want to pay $500 for a more expensive device, or more for a proper factory install. The small is quite small, but since I am driving a hatchback, it is the perfect size. During the day, the brightness of the screen is sometimes lacking, but I make do. Overall, I am happy with the device, and I think I got pretty good value for what I paid. Delivery in Australia was also very fast — only took two days to arrive.
