I have no idea if this is a good product. I wasn’t able to run the installation disc sent to me. the seller told me to follow a link to download. when I did, I was warned it was not a trusted site. so I’ve counted it as a loss. very disappointed. I would think Amazon would check these things out before they put their “name” on selling this product.

Sloooooow to load while installing. Ugly, outdated interface. Could not go beyond the pdf instructions documents. Could not find a link or way to open writer function even if reading and rereading the main and writer specific instructions. Not user friendly. I wish I could still have my MS Word 2013 but it was deleted by the October 2018 Windows updheate.

Reinstalled the disc after finding a previous installation (earlier version) of OpenOffice in my laptop. Also deleted the existing Java and reinstalled the current one from their website. Let’s see if this reinstallation will work or not.

No, It does not have a way to go to Write function. Could not go beyond the manual. No links on laeft side or any place to open Write. I will return and will request my payment back.

Needed new document software for several computers – without – having to pay extra for each one, or being limited to (3) or some number. Tried Open Office a couple times and it handled our Word documents, so off we go. It will also do presentations and create PDF. Saying “goodbye” to the other software companies.

The Open Office suite is amazing! It is basically exactly like Microsoft Office suite or 365 but at a fraction of the price! I’ve always had Microsoft products and was concerned about my Microsoft docs transferring over to Open Office. I’m happy to report that every document I’ve opened that was saved as a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint doc has opened perfectly with Open Office! So happy I found Open Office, great product at an amazing price!

I was looking for something alternative to Microsoft Office and found this and thought i’d give it a try. It was super easy to install and within a few minutes I was able to open and edit my Word and Excel documents from my older version of MS office. I had a few questions, so I contacted the seller and he responded within hours, awesome support! I liked getting the software on CD so I have it close by when needed, plus I don’t have to worry about downloading any viruses from the online version. The guides on the CD are also very useful. Very Satisfied and would highly recommend this product at such a low price!
