I have never been able to place a screen protector properly on my mobiles, so with this one I went to one of their shops where protectors are sold. They fitted this one professionally on my Kindle for $5.
I think this was worth it, since it sits invisible without any bubbles on my Kindle now.

Cons:
– adds a small amount of reflectiveness to the screen, slight decrease in contrast as a result
Pros:
– great fit (can’t notice it unless you really look)
– less fingerprint prone than the standard screen
– will be better at reflections compared to glass screen protectors
– despite packaging saying it’s not compatible with Signature edition, auto-brightness sensor still works fine
If you use a case or sleeve on your paperwhite, I wouldn’t bother with a screen protector. If you don’t use a case though, a screen protector is a nice bit of protection with minimal impact on the usability of the eink screen.

If you’ve ever fitted a screen protector to anything you know what to expect, fortunately it comes with two protectors as I messed up the first one (my fault)
While it’s not going to save your kindle from any serious harm it does provide some peace of mind when using the Kindle without a cover (my preferred) that the screen at least will not be easily scratched.
