Amazon Customer –
Whilst installing this programme, activation key accepted then I tried to change the region from Italy which was pre set. I neeed to change to the U.K. it would not let me do so.
I tried to send the programme back but only had option to replace with another programme. This was no good to me as a replacement programme could also have been pre set to Italy with no option to change region
Finally Amazon intervened, and gave me a refund

I won’t review Microsoft office, because if you really need it, there’s nothing else that matches its all round functionality. It’s a bit of a monopoly.
The subscription model is not a good thing either.
All I’m reviewing here is that if you shop around you can find a deal. I got a product key posted to me, 6 devices for a year for £50.

I want to contact the seller but can’t see an option to do so. I am left with this option of leaving a bad review. I have been trying since I received this Office 365 to successfully get it to work. I have been on a live chat with Microsoft themselves and they think it has a bug. Basically it has a message on the screen to deactivate on April 6th and on another of my devices June 2023. It says it is already accessed on another Microsoft account yet I only have one Microsoft account.
PLEASE CAN THE SELLER CONTACT ME IT SAYS I HAVE UNTILL 1ST APRIL TO RETURN BUT I AM STILL TRYING TO GET BACK IN TOUCH WITH MICROSOFT FOR AN UPDATE.

The Microsoft website keeps taking you to the “pay £80 now” page instead of the “register the version you bought elsewhere for £40” page, but once I conquered that, it’s great. I’ve used Excel & Word for decades and they are as good as ever. The included 1 TB per user of OneDrive online storage is brilliant too. I haven’t used tech support so can’t comment on that.

It’s odd that it’s cheaper to buy this from a third party than it is to get it direct from Microsoft, and it’s odd that the code in the box through the post is cheaper than code over email. But you might as well go for the cheapest way and I can confirm that the code in the box worked perfectly well to extend my existing subscription for a year saving me money on what I would have paid Microsoft. Literally took 2 minutes.
You don’t need me to review the software/service itself – I’ll let you consult reviews elsewhere in case you’ve been living under a rock for the last 25 years and you’re not familiar with Office!
