After doing a lot of research on low tox sunscreen I narrowed it down to this one. It goes greasy on the hands which is great for application and then it dries as if you have nothing on. No white cast. Best thing is no fragrance which was important to me. Our family has eczema and this does not irritate like most sunscreens. We live by the beach so in the sun a lot, I now use for the whole family.

Great for the kids who would scream and cry when I tried to apply other sunscreens – now they literally ask for Little Urchin. The whole family uses it for a day at the beach. Wonderful product. No more chemical sunscreens for our family!

**Pro**: for a zinc oxide sunscreen, this is not thick and can quickly be rubbed into the skin & doesn’t leave an oily shine – fairly matte. If you’re not brown skin (just a golden tan or lighter) it won’t leave an obvious white cast. If you’re brown or darker (like some of my family) then it will still leave a light layer of white cast – just can’t escape.
**Con**: don’t like how runny the formula is. We opened the tube lid down to start squeezing the cream out but the just “runs” out. As a result, on multiple occasions we wasted creams on clothes, towels etc. by accident.
For the runniness of the product I will not be repurchasing and will try to find another zinc oxide sunscreen.

It does not sting like most of the regular suncreams you buy from the supermarket. It goes on easily and spreads well. Doesn’t leave a thick white residue like other natural suncreams. I love that it is Natural and after 2 melanomas, great to know I can use this everyday without all the nasties you get from non natural suncreams.
