The pump is very difficult to use. In fact, when pumping, instead of the product dispensing out of the correct hole, it comes out of the sides of the pump. Very unsanitary.
La Roche Posay is aware of the issue because they recommend pressing on the end of the tube and pushing on the pump at the same time. It’s not easy to do, and it still doesn’t dispense correctly.
Will be returning and getting a different sunscreen.

Finally a suncream for my face that doesn’t make me look like a shiny mess. I have been looking for something light weight with a high protection for over a year. I used to use Boots Soltan Dry Touch SPF 50 for your face but sadly they stopped making it, I wish they hadn’t! Since then I’ve used many other brands including Paula’s Choice. None of them have really been dry touch / matt and some of them even piled when dry or if you put makeup over them.
I have pale combination skin with some hormonal acne and very mild rosacea. This isn’t oily or shiny and disappears into your skin. It also hasn’t piled (yet!). I haven’t worn it in boiling hot weather yet so I don’t know if it will stand up to that. The only other thing is that I have no idea what UVA rating it is. In the UK this is quite a big thing and really helps you pick a strong suncream. I’m hoping it’s strong enough to stop me from looking like a dried up raisin in years to come.

I am a bit unsure of this product. First off, the coverage is great it’s super light weight and is wearable as an spf under make up. However, I do have acne prone skin , my skin has been great for the last few weeks but since using this product it has broken out so much all over. This is the only product I have added to my skin care routine so I think it is down to this product , I am going to stop using it and try another brand. It is unfortunate because overall it feels great and not cakey , but it doesn’t agree with my skin.

I live in Australia and wear sunscreen every day. This is good. You need to rub it in very quickly which is harder on the neck area. It doesn’t stop the shiny T-zone horrors. The quest for the holy grail of sunscreen continues.

Great sun protection (broad spectrum uva/uvb protection). My fair skin does not burn with this sunscreen. HOWEVER, unless you have extremely oily skin, it is too drying and does not glide well under make-up.( I have combination skin- oil on the T zone and normal on the rest of the face) I up cycled this cream for my hands and chest. If you have dark skin : forget about it. It leaves a white cast even on my fair skin. For darker skin tones ladies & gentlemen out there with oily and combination skin : try the shaka-fluid range of la roche-posay. I use this one instead and it works wonders on my face. Not greasy but still hydrating and leaves NO white cast.

Dries the skin, leaves white cast.

The texture is perfect for oily skin.

I bought this because it was supposed to be:
1) less sticky than cheap sunscreen
2) leave less of a white tint than cheap sunscreen
But it is both:
1) just as sticky as cheap sunscreen
2) leaves just as much of a white tint as cheap sunscreen
I don’t see why it’s so talked up.

My favourite sunscreen to date.

great sun protection without the greasy or sticky feeling others have – ideal for use on your face.

Was looking for decent everyday protection for oily pale skin. A product that I can wear outside in situations when I wouldn’t use foundation eg a long walk.
Suits me as my skin is pale but might leave a slightly white sheen on darker skin. Not sure how it would react if you wore foundation over the top as have never done this.
Easy to apply, blends in well and good level of protection. I re-apply it every few hours if outside for a long time and again it blends in well. Stays on well if you’re sweating and doesn’t run into your eyes
This product suits my skin – I can comment on how it would work an anyone else!
