This door bell is great in terms of picture
quality and functionality. You can not hear the doorbell ring unless you have your phone on you and you require a monthly subscription I view ANY history. This is not advertised and that’s the catch. I find that deceitful and will replace the doorbell with one that doesn’t require a subscription. Such a let down.

The doorbell works well, we had it installed by an electrician on our brick house and we have the ringer in our kitchen. Only issue we have is that when it’s very windy, our tree in our front garden (near the front door) blows around and alerts the sensor, which is a bit annoying. Then again my dog got out once and it alerted us to the motion and we got her inside which could potentially have saved her life! Overall happy with the product.

I bought this doorbell last year and 8 month in it stopped working. Contacted ring and was told that they send a new one and would get an email in 5 to 7 days. Nothing happen, 3 weeks later I called again and was told my claim was expediated and I would get an email in 24 to 48 hours. Nothing happen. Called again, this time they didn’t bother with promises of email, just told me to wait for them to send something. This has been going on for 2 month and I’m about to lodge a case with the Australian consumer protection commission as per advice from Choice. Told them that too, but they couldn’t care less. I’m writing this review in the hope that I might save someone from the same problems I.m going through

So much batter than worrying about batteries. If you have an existing wired doorbell, this thing is a breeze to install. I was replacing an intercom and it was still very easy. Great picture and being able to answer from anywhere is awesome.
