Love this printer so easy to install and use and is perfect for my requirements as I’m now retired.
My daughter bought HP Envy too as I recommended it to her.

I was not able to use the printer with the ink cartridge that came with the printer and after many attempts took the monthly ink subscription from HP.. seems they have programmed it to work only if you to take the ink subscription from manufacturer.
What’s more interesting is that the ink cartridges are shipped from Singapore..so more waiting time to get the printer up and running and probably the cycle would repeat when you need to reorder ink.
As a consumer it should be my choice to take up the ink subscription.. I did not even try getting ink cartridge from office works as I wasnt sure they would work.
Also , tough I appreciate the manufactures effort to reduce waste recycling the ink cartridge, they are generating wasted cartridge if the ones that came with the printer are not going to work with the printer.

This printer was so trouble prone, I threw it out the window, literally. Smashed to pieces. It was the only satisfaction I got from owning this junk.

The printer is fine if you can get the inks to works. I have always purchased HP ink but not as part of the HP ink scheme. Trying to get them to work is a nightmare and HP are no help whatsoever.
So frustrating, it seems to me they do not want you to buy ink any other way than through their scheme and made it so hard to get proper HP cartridge to work, bought outside their scheme.
This seems like uncompetitive behaviour in my opinion!
AVOID!

We have hardly used the printer and it’s not working anymore. Received paper jam after 25-30 pages, and haven’t been resolved no matter what we do.

After finally getting the computer to recognize the thing I tried to print a test page and all I get is a crackling sound from the right side.. I can’t get the scanner to work either.
