I am so disappointed . The box was damaged the jar lid dented and the seal broken

Sadly I broke out in itchy hives but I don’t think it’s to do with the cream itself. I just react badly to retinol. Was hoping bakuchiol would not irritate me…but oh well. Back to the drawing board trying to find less irritating anti ageing ingredient!

Fairly okay as a face cream; but way too heavy for oily skin. Don’t recommend wearing on hot days either, you will be sweating like crazy because it completely blocks your pores. You can feel it on top of your skin, almost like a mask. Will probably be good for very dry skin.

I am a fan of retinol, hyaluronic acid and vitamin c moisturisers but finding the right one for my sensitive/problematic skin is always tricky. After one week using Face Theory Bakuluronic moisturiser M1 I already noticed a huge difference with pigmentation marks, skin tone and hydration.
The velvety and light texture has a lovely citrus scent and is rich enough for the day but easily absorbed, non greasy and amazing prior to make-up application. I don’t even need to use a serum anymore because this moisturiser has the right balance of Bakuchiol (alternative and similar results than retinol), vitamin C and hyaluronic acid and is great for fine lines without causing any irritation. Please note that a tiny bit goes a long way and you don’t need to use a SPF because Bakuchiol doesn’t cause sensitivity to sun exposure.
This is by far the best moisturiser I came across for hyperpigmentation marks and any problems area you might have. My skin really feels pampered, plumped and well rebalanced after each use and I don’t think I could live without it. A fabulous moisturiser without the price tag and nasty chemicals I highly recommend even if you have a sensitive skin like mine. 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂
