I really enjoy the feature and motion detection. speaker quality is better than Echo 5 and 8. I like the 360 camera motion, I’ve installed this for monitory my household so I can check on it from time to time especially when i’m not home, just a shame that it only allows “live” viewing – not recording. Overall i’m happy with this product and Alexa continues to add/evolve its features, I’m also glad that I waited for prime day before buying this – well worth the value of money.

Communication- alexa call is unreliable, sometimes call doesn’t go through.
“Alexa open browser” doesn’t work even when it has bing browser

Works well. The motion rotation confuses itself with the tv sounds and turns to watch TV a lot 😀. Otherwise works great! Got it setup for bilingual voice recognition and my elderly parents love it too.

Appreciate Alexa a lot more with the Echo show 10. We have had this for some time now. The sound is very good, not tinny like the dot (though not excellent like the echoes in stereo ) so we actually use it to listen to music and there are no problems with responsiveness. It also flashes up the cameras when motion is detected plus you can use it as a two way camera if you like (we have the inbuilt camera door closed though).
One of our householders has some disabilities and she has found it really useful for using lights, watching television shows and movies, playing music etc and asking all sorts of questions as well as adding to the household shopping list etc , which is great, she seems happier with a sense of some independence again ( a lot of people don’t like having to ask others for help all the time). It’s not perfect, but its pretty good and is always improving. And since its there, I find myself using it all the time too, especially for cooking and putting things on the shopping list when I see we’re running out of something (I can see the list on my phone at the shops).
The movement on motion detection would be great if you were using it for live communication or watching something while you cook, but its a feature we don’t use, nevertheless I really like the round shape both for sound projection and because I can just spin it the screen around to face either the kitchen or the living room.

I’ve had a Echo Snow 1, 2 and now 3rd generation and they seem to improve at each step while keeping the old feature compatibility that I’ve come to love and rely on. I use the drop-in feature with each of my machines as well as relatives and they all work flawlessly. The skills from my old machine transferred completely to the new machine once it was setup properly to the Wifi and Alexa apps. I have the new moving head version but it doesn’t move very much as I think that the ambient light in the room I have it in is not that bright to activate it properly. The screen is very clear and connects to other skills like video cameras quicker than my earlier models.

Good purchase value for money. Does not have the apps for streaming like Stan, Paramount, Disneyplus which sux. Does have Netflix and YouTube. Bing is the search engine so have to log in there to watch other streaming platforms.
At times Alexa has delayed voice recognition and likes to play Amazon music instead of my Apple Music. Shopping lists, deliveries works great for those. Works well for our Ring home security. Follow the prompts to set up. You will need the Alexa app too so you can call Alexa so family at home can answer the call using the echo show instead of their phone which they could be using at the time.
Still a good purchase. Playing musics while doing chores or cooking using the recipes is good.
