- HD 720P Rear-view Backup Parking Assist Camera puts out 720P HD video signals. The special wiring design and system firmware support ability allow users to have a live rearview even when the vehicle is moving forward, avoiding obstructions caused by passengers, headrests and the vehicle’s roof & rear pillars, expanding the field of view, offering the driver an unimpeded view of the lanes behind and eliminating traditional blind spots.
- It only works with ATOTO S8 Gen2 and Gen1 (firmware update required) car stereo models. The 720P video image quality is much higher than on traditional cameras that put out CVBS signals. This camera is not compatible with car stereos of other brands!
- This camera has a 180°ultra wide viewing angle and is specified for working with selected ATOTO S8 Android head units that come with VSV (Virtual Surround View) parking feature. An extra calibration cloth is included in the package, and the retailing price covers both the camera and the calibration cloth.
- Easy installation. 2 mounting options: you could choose mounting either with or without the bracket included. A 8-meter-long extension wire is included in the package.
- It does not work with ATOTO A6, F7, SA102 models or car stereos of other brands. For S8 Gen1, a firmware update is required for the LRV feature to work properly. IMPORTANT: NOT compatible with ATOTO P8 series.

Versatile installation options, ample cable length, good image quality. Coupled with a ATOTO A6PF head unit, it works well, no complaints. Triggers when placed into reverse, customisable line markings, and other camera controls available.

This integrates perfectly with my S8 premium gen2 head unit. All features work well.installation was straightforward just a bit fidly on my car as I had to mount it high up due to rear wheel carrier. This was no problem because you can configure the relevant parameters on setup to allow for height of camera etc. Definately a great improvement on my car.

Atoto customer service is fantastic. I broke the fire when install the camera and I contacted them via email. After confirm the damaged lead they sent a replacement FOC. the camera is full installed and very easy to install works perfectly with the head unit. Thank you to Hana I customer service.

Impressive picture quality.
Too much wide angle though.
No instructions on overlaying distance lines for reversing but easy enough to figure out once prompted online.
Lens needs cleaning each journey. It’s low down, so attracts road spray. Wipe with a cloth or tissue.
Large hole needs drilling in tailgate to accommodate the cable join plug.
Night time vision is poor on the road because of car headlights.
I still have to practice using it to reverse. Not at all confident. Mirrors for now.
Adds a feature for resale I guess.

Good kit to make installation easy, the configuration sheet makes setting up very easy. Quality is excellent, finally i can see obstacles clearly when reversing.

Worked out of the box in a vehicle we don’t use all the time. Stopped working now and must have only been in use for about 20 occasions and less than a few days motoring. Disappointing that I have to remove it from the vehicle to return as it’s hard work and takes time.

I upgraded from a generic screw-on reverse camera and paired with my old HU it was horrible. I got this one along with my ATOTO A6 PF and the two work flawlessly. I’d love for the higher-end model’s live view feature to come through in an update at some point but I guess they need to save some cool features for their top line product.

Absolutely brilliant image quality in day and night, I’ve had many people comment that it’s a better camera than those they’ve seen in expensive, modern cars. And this is connected up to a screen that isn’t higher than 720p! So it would likely look even better on a higher res (or smaller) display. Looks great even on the 10 inch 720p screen of the ATOTO F7 Pro.
Hands down worth spending the extra money over cheap cameras when you factor in how much faff they are to install (a couple of hours minimum).

I loved how tiny the camera was and how much cable came with it. I used up almost all the 8m of cable on my 7m Ducato motorhome. I used the enclosed sticky pad to mount it just above the registration plate, then screwed it in with the screws provided. So it’s there, solid as a rock, when I’m reversing or when I want to check who’s behind me at any time, using the live rear view function. Great addition to my van.
