Don’t know what exactly happened but after connecting my 1more earphones with this adaptor to my 2020 ipad the sound quality changed drastically. It has more crisp heavy bass and volume has increased. Before I used these earphones with my samsung S20 which has dolby atmos and an equalizer but the quality now is not the same. Infact it far much better and extreme bass with high mids. Nothing is compromised in the song. Ver happy with the product and is half the price of what apple is selling which is a standard adaptor.

What can I say other than that this product has been made with purely customer satisfaction in mind.. everything from the feel of the material and the quality of it, to the sturdiness of both ends of the adapter . Aux plugs snap firmly in to place and remain plugged in and don’t just pop out at the slightest pull or. It really does SNAP in to place and when it does, immediately you know that it ain’t gonna come out so easily… Just hearing the sound of it snapping in immediately reassures you of that.
The USB-C side of this product is quite solid and sturdy as well. It clicks in to place very well and also remains in its place very snug and doesn’t wiggle or come loose the whole time that I’ve been using it so far..
Just to give you an idea of how sturdy and firm this little but tough,durable,solid and reliable adapter really is I will say this.
I had my earphone in my ear while on a phone call which was connected to the Aux end of the adapter and the usb-c end obviously plugged in to my phone and sat my phone on the bench while cutting fruit. I accidentally stretched over and leaned to far when aiming for the bin and the cable had dragged the whole phone straight off the benchtop (mind you it came flying off telhe bench pretty quickly as I had turned toward the bin fairly quickly) but too my surprise I was astounded and relieved (phone is brand new haha!!) That the adapter was still connected to the phone and to the earphone cable which remarkably kept the phone from landing on the floor and just ended up dangling in mid air roughly around knee height…
Trust me when I say that this product is well worth the money and no need to look anywhere else 😀

The product quality is pretty good. However, the only thing to point out is that the USB C is very tight. The inside of the usb c plug looks slightly smaller than the Samsung usb c plug as you see on the photo. Left is Samsung and right is the ARKTeK. So I would need to push very hard into the usb c of my Samsung device. But the sound quality is excellent. In fact, it’s more crisp than the sound quality from the headphone jack.

A decent adapter, recommended. Compact USB-C plug bit (less breakage risk).
EDIT: Had for a year now and still no issues, works on 3 PC’s I have tried too and my new phone, an Oppo. ** Enable OTG first in OppoOS to make it work **
Plenty loud, nice “flat” but full sound with plenty of oomph even into 16 Ohms. Far louder than the offerings from Google and Apple and much much cleaner sound than the muddy Samsung one.
High impedance Planar Magnetic headphones didn’t go overly loud but this is a sub $15 adapter.
Well made, good solid and firm USB-C connector, Uses common KTMICRO K0200 Chip (48K-24Bit)

This dongle is well constructed, sounds great for its size, has a low enough noise floor for sensitive iems (tested blessing 2s) and can decently power some headphones (tested Sundaras and 650s). My only complaint is when there is no audio playing, there is a short buzzing sound whenever it appears to go into and off standby mode.
