I wanted this for iPhone because I do a lot of video editing. I thought this helps me to do it with higher precision when sliding in toolbars but unfortunately it’s not as responsive and as accurate I thought it would be. For example when I want to drag one end of the video to trim the length I need to place the tip slightly off the location for it to work. Another problem is that sometimes I need to press the tip a bit hard otherwise it won’t work. So it’s not as comfortable as my ESR pen for iPad is. I know iPhones have different screens than iPads so the mechanism is different. But this was sort of disappointing for me which may not be necessarily for this pen but the issue with this kind of screen (I think it’s called capacitative screen)

>When selecting things on the screen, it will respond when you tap back buttons, menu buttons and keyboard keys. Must press down on the tip if the first swipe attempt or tap attempt does not work.
>Easy doodling and drawing are applicable on various apps.
Cons: Tech-savvy individuals… heads-up… (As per video attached, 35sec-long)
>Expect latency when writing sentences with this pen. The stylus pens that are built into a smartphone such as Samsung Note Series, or Samsung S22 ultra, have a much lower latency response when you are taking notes.

If you don’t need all the features of an Apple Pencil, just an effective fine point stylus for any touch screens, this is ideal. Works well. I just wish that it did not share the worst feature of the Apple Pencil – being completely round and smooth so it rolls off the slightest incline onto the floor. A slightly flat strip in its circumference would fix that. And, just like the Apple Pencil, it is super smooth and hard to use with a gentle grip until you put a foam pencil sleeve on it, or wrap some masking tape round it. Easy design problems to solve, but otherwise good value for money.

I bought this active stylus recently on Amazon not for myself but as a replacement for a relative who had worn out several passive stylus’ over time.
Looking around Amazon there appeared to be a number of active styli available at different price points with varying user feedback.
Eventually I had decided on a particular active stylus that looked like a good purchase until I got cold feet after going through the user feedback.
Anyway with some further investigation I came across the stylus I ended up ordering.
As the user feedback was pretty favourable I felt confident in buying this particular stylus which appeared to be a generic product.
I was very impressed that the order was delivered to me within 3 days after ordering the product.
After giving the stylus to the relative he unboxed it and read the instruction sheet which was only a basic overview of the stylus and when/how to charge it.
Interestingly the package also contained a mesh covered passive stylus tip which magnetically secures to the stylus in place of the charging port cap turning it into a passive stylus which would be useful if the stylus’ battery was depleted.
Summing things up the active stylus works perfectly with my relatives phone, (which has a glass screen protector fitted), and he wishes he’d had a stylus like this years ago.
He is particularly happy with the ease of manipulating small text and graphics which he found difficult to perform with his former bulky, (and now defunct), passive stylus.
All in all a great buy for a well built generic active stylus which doesn’t break the bank!

Con: – Obviously it is not as pressure sensitive as the Apple pen, but if you have a good sketch program, it really makes a difference (Apps like: Sketchbook by Autodesk)
Overall: I would recommend to friends that sketch on their ipad/iphones lot, or for ppl who need fast digital signatures a lot, not recommended for kids games or tapping hard and fast app games as the tip is hard and if you tap it too hard on the screen, a kid could ruin the screen or the pen. Overall, VERY MUCH recommended! 🙂
