It is a very sturdy unit. I liked it so much I have ordered another 2 and have gifted one to my daughter – who also says that it is better than other untis that she has used.
It is sturdy, whether you use it in a portrait or landscape setting. It is easy to set up and to use. The release button is behind the unit – which I thought may be difficult to reach – but it actually very easy.

I’ve ordered three of these vent mount phone holders so far (one for each of my cars). They are compact, easy to install, and seem to hold the phone securely. The ratcheting mechanism works well and releases the phone quickly with the press of a button.

There are new rules in place for mobile phone use to increase safety (which os good). I wish I had found this phone holder earlier as it has made my commutes so much easier as I use it for navigation purposes mainly. It is a good price, easy to is install and sturdy.

I searched for a good car phone holder for long and read all reviews and at the end chose this one. I wasn’t disappointed. Easily assembled, sturdy and well made. Excellent way of fixing it to the vent. Genius way of fixing the phone to the holder. Some mentioned that the opening mechanism doesn’t work in cold weather. When I take the phone off the holder at the end of the day, I leave the “wings” open so the potential problem of the wings freezing in a closed position doesn’t happen. Of course one would expect some shakiness in all vents-fixed holders but I don’t see any more shakiness than expected. All in all I like this product very much and strongly recommend it to everyone.

I was concerned that it would not fit my car’s vertical ventilation slots, but it fits well. Does not move when I’m driving. I like the geared mechanism for clamping the phone, and the simple button release. I noticed that my wife’s phone sat a bit loosely when she used it without a protective case, but it still stayed in place. I used a magnet before, and although that holder was quicker to remove and occupied less real estate on the dashboard, it limited me in that I had to attach a magnet to the protective case, meaning I had to remove the phone from the case for charging, and it occasionally did get dislodged on bumpy roads. This holder will hold the phone even on unpaved roads.

My husband has a holder in his car so I thought I’d find one for myself. This looked good and I liked the mechanism that holds and the button that releases the phone. My husband is now jealous because it’s better than his lol. I’ll get him one for Christmas perhaps. Nice and sturdy and would fit many phones. Recommend.
